Tomorrow, we’ll be convening in Sausalito, California for the 2nd annual K8 Summit. This event brings together senior-level Skai clients and partners to learn from each other in a retreat setting at the amazing Cavallo Point lodge.
This year our theme is “Predictive Intelligence for Proactive Marketing” and we have a great agenda planned with more than 200 attendees confirmed. Proactive marketing is a concept we’re using at Skai to describe the optimal approach to building brands and generating demand. It’s about looking forward to predict future outcomes and seizing opportunities as they arise in real-time.
Our keynote speaker is Pablos Holman, a futurist, inventor and notorious hacker with a unique view into breaking and building new technologies. Pablos is part of the Intellectual Ventures Lab, where he’s putting big data and machine-learning to use in a proactive effort to solve global humanitarian issues such as malaria and nuclear waste.
Throughout the day tomorrow, we’ll see many great examples of proactive marketing from Skai clients as we unveil the winners of this year’s Infinity Awards. Attendees will also get a chance to share best practices during breakout discussions and put on their creative hats to create a video with Surface Pro 3 tablets. And, of course, we’ll be demoing the latest tools for predictive intelligence including magic 8 balls, tarot cards, and palm readers!
For those unable to attend, be sure to follow the action on Twitter via #k8summit and take the Skai Marketing Transformation survey for yourself to see where you stack up on the scale from inactive to proactive marketing. We’ll be posting videos and decks from K8 to our website in the coming weeks so make sure to (proactively!) come back and check.
