Senior Manager SDR's
Skai is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager, Sales Development to lead our Sales Development team. This role is pivotal to accelerating pipeline growth and building a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) aligned with Skai’s broader go-to-market strategy. You will play a critical role in bridging Sales and Marketing, optimizing operational excellence, and scaling our Sales Development organization to support continued business growth.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
● Lead, inspire, and develop a team of SDRs, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and high performance.
● Partner with Revenue leadership to define and execute the sales development strategy, focusing on high-quality pipeline creation and conversion across priority accounts.
● Initiate outreach campaigns, monitor their performance and develop the team’s writing skills and reach strategy.
● Champion a collaborative, metrics-driven environment, aligning closely with Sales, Marketing, and Enablement to ensure SDR efforts are contributing meaningfully to business goals.
● Serve as a strategic voice in cross-functional planning sessions, ensuring Sales Development is proactively aligned with campaign planning, product positioning, and sales motions.
● Drive career development and skill advancement through regular coaching, personalized development plans, and hands-on mentorship aligned to individual career aspirations.
Pipeline Strategy & Operational Excellence:
● Own the strategy for pipeline generation, developing impactful campaigns and data-informed processes to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and revenue impact.
● Continuously refine prospecting strategies and outreach methodologies to stay ahead of market trends and buyer behavior.
● Collaborate with Marketing to ensure seamless alignment on demand generation initiatives, ABM strategies, and SDR engagement tactics.
● Regularly analyze key performance indicators, generate insights, and translate data into actionable plans to drive continuous improvement across the team.
● Optimize the SDR-to-AE handoff process to maximize conversion efficiency and accelerate deal velocity.
● Implement, manage, and optimize sales engagement technology stack including Outreach.io, TryProspect, Salesforce, and 6Sense to enhance team productivity and performance.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
● Proven experience in an SDR and SDR leadership role, with a track record of success [minimum of 3+ years]
● Strong leadership and team management experience [minimum 3+ years]
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
● Familiarity with sales technology tools and CRM systems, specifically Salesforce
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000 plus commissions. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicants experience, skills and abilities as well as internal equity and market data. This position is eligible for additional bonus compensation, full details will be provided during the recruitment process.
