Our goal here at 55social is to help our clients achieve great results with social media through better technology. We built a platform focused on content optimization for Facebook, but we’ve always known that media spending was essential to obtain the best results.
By the end of 2012, we felt that most of our clients had the need for a more professional approach to Facebook media, and very few companies in Brazil really understood how to do it. We weren’t going to change our software strategy to focus on ads, so we got in touch with Skai for a partnership.
I remember the first demo call we had with the Skai team. One of our people forgot to mute his mic and blurted “OH WOW!” after seeing how easy it was to create dozens of different targets in order to run testing. We wondered how we ever managed and optimized campaigns without Skai.
A year and several other features later, Skai Social helps us to be much more efficient, stay on top of all the trends and best practices, have access to exclusive technology, and deliver better results to our clients.
Since that meeting in late 2012, we’ve managed Facebook media spending for lots of 55social software clients, increasing fan bases by the millions, generating thousands of leads, and outperforming other media in ROI. Along with Skai, 55social’s own content optimization platform made it possible to see even better results: building social landing pages, creating social CRM that led to better targeting, and ultimately increasing conversions exponentially.
Being in touch with so many companies over the past year, we have seen a great deal of progress in Brazil’s market when it comes to Facebook advertising. A year ago, almost 100% of the companies that approached us wanted to improve their fan acquisition performance and increase engagement; now, brands are much more focused on generating real business results.
This is the case of Bebe Store, with whom we have recently released a case study highlighting its Facebook advertising success — which includes exceeding a ROI goal by 47.5%. Facebook is now one of the top performers in its media spending on both last-click and multi-touch ROI. And Bebe Store is definitely not alone — Facebook is gradually becoming one of the main sources of revenues and leads for companies of every sector, such as e-commerce, real estate, local businesses, B2B products, and many others.
We have seen a lot of progress, but we believe we’re just starting to use the full potential of Facebook and other social media to achieve business results, and technology is an essential part of this process. That is why we partnered with Skai Social a year ago and continue to develop our platform every day.
