Senior Product Marketing Manager @ Skai
Gone are the days when marketing channels were simple.
Back then, there were only a few channels to advertise on with a consistent terminology and only slight variations. Today, that’s a far cry from reality. In just one year, Skai has added support for over 50 new additional publishers and counting. It’s no wonder our customers can get overwhelmed with all this information. As businesses expand their presence across various publishers like Walmart and Nectar 360, managing and understanding data becomes more complex.
Adding to the complexity are the different terminologies used across channels. Retail media refers to ROI as ROAS, display refers to ad groups as line items, and the list goes on. This makes it challenging to have a clear and consistent view of performance across different channels, creating a confusing and time-consuming situation for even the best performance marketers.
That’s why Skai, a leader in innovative digital marketing technology, has created Dynamic Channel Views which revolutionizes the way businesses analyze and manage their data across multiple publisher channels. This new feature offers a seamless viewing experience when looking at channel-specific information.
Dynamic Channel Views: what it can do

This omnichannel-focused feature also updates default columns for the selected view and includes preset views by channel, making it easy to switch between channels and see only relevant data.
Standardizing terminology = less complexity
Dynamic Channel Views adjusts terminology differences across publishers to better match the terminology commonly used by the publishers in each view. For example:
- Retail media view changes “ad scheduling” to “dayparting”
- Amazon DSP view changes “campaigns”, “ad groups”, and “ads” to “orders”, “line items”, and “creative assignments”
- Paid social view changes “ad groups” to “ad sets”
Analysis grid and actions menu adjustments
Dynamic Channel Views also displays only menu items and actions relevant to publishers in the selected view. For example:
- The retail media view hides the Locations and Sitelinks grids from the left navigation bar
- Campaign mirroring is hidden from all views except paid search
- Competitive insights are hidden for all views except retail media
Unparalleled Time Savings
Dynamic Channel Views saves time by setting up new accounts and profiles with preset views by channel. When new clients onboard to Skai or new profiles are created, Dynamic Channel Views automatically sets a pre-defined group of columns for each grid, providing a better starting point and saving time. Skai customers never have to worry about missing relevant columns with manual work—we do it all for you.
