SOC 2 status validates corporate commitment to data security, availability, and confidentiality
San Francisco (January 6, 2015) – Skai (www.Kenshoo.com), the global leader in predictive marketing solutions, today announced it has received a Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2 report that Skai conforms to the trust service principles of security, availability and confidentiality established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
The SOC 2 report provides Skai’s clients with an assurance that the company has designed effective controls to meet audit levels for data protection and availability. EY, which conducted the examination of Skai and issued the SOC 2 report, is one of the premier firms providing audit and advisory services.
SOC 2 examinations are designed to provide businesses that outsource the operation, collection, processing, transmission, storage, organization, maintenance and disposal of their information to third parties an assessment of governance and oversight at those service providers. The report includes an overview of Skai’s systems, infrastructure, organization, operations, and procedures, as well as an independent auditor’s opinion on the fairness of the description and the suitability of the provider’s design.
“Skai takes the security and integrity of client data very seriously and we continuously strive to meet and exceed industry standards,” said Israel David, senior vice president, technology of Skai. “It’s easy to tell our clients we value data security but it’s much more valuable to show a third-party audit that Skai actively strives to protect the sensitive information they entrust to us.”
