The Q4 2018 Quarterly Trends Report is here!
If you want to know what the big narratives will be for a new year, just look back to the previous Q4 as it is generally a strong indicator of how the following year will unfold.
What marketers learn about their campaign strategy during this period is telling, because it will likely be reflected in Q1 and beyond.
For years, Skai has published its Quarterly Trends Report (QTR) to help advertisers contextualize their efforts in a broader scope and better plan their next campaigns by comparing themselves against the aggregated market trends. Our large and comprehensive set of data across a variety of advertiser verticals, marketing channels, and regions allows us to share an accurate view of the market.
You’ll want to check out the live, interactive infographic, download the Skai Q4 2018 Quarterly Trend Report, or watch the webinar recording to get the full scoop, but here are three of the top takeaways presented by Skai’s Senior Director of Marketing Research, Chris ‘Coz’ Costello in his January 24th, 2019 webinar.:
“Reaching shoppers with ECA just makes a lot of sense for retailers,” says Costello. “While other modes of advertising act with varying degrees of success to influence consumers while they are doing something else—socializing, reading news, watching videos, surfing the internet—getting in front of them during the final stages of online shopping with ads relevant to what they’re already shopping for is a no-brainer.”
A lot of attention was paid to Instagram in 2018 by marketers and Stories Ads are the latest trend in advertising. As the Facebook-owned property matures, brands are seeing an incredible opportunity to leverage the visual-driven platform to move the needle with consumers.
Pinterest has become known to marketers as a unique channel to drive discovery for purchases before consumers even start their research. Check out the Q4 2018 QTR webinar and report to get more insight into where on Pinterest this growth is coming from.
If you’re going to pay attention to any quarter of the year to better understand the advertising industry trends, it’s Q4.
