“Skai’s “Global Search Advertising Trends – Q1 2013” report finds that global search advertising spend was up 15 percent year-over-year in the first quarter of 2013. In 2012, search ad budgets rose 32 percent from 2011.

While global search ad spend fell 16 percent on a quarter-over-quarter basis, Skai notes that this is typical, since fourth quarters typically generate seasonal peaks.”
